Yoga Strength Building with Weights (45 Min) Yoga Class – Five Parks Yoga



This yoga fitness class is an energizing and strength building yoga class, which can be practiced with or without weights. This is a vinyasa yoga class with familiar postures throughout. Adding weights to this practice gives you an opportunity to further build strength and steadiness with light reps.

Upper body strengthening includes shoulder presses, chest presses, bicep curls, tricep kickbacks, and more. Lower body strengthening includes holding poses like crescent lunge, warrior 2, prayer squat and adding dips and pulses as well as glute work at the end. Core and full body strengtheners include plank, forearm plank and plank variations, push-ups, sit ups, elbow to knee taps. Enjoy this fun, challenging and fast moving yoga class!   2. Such such such a beautiful yoga cardio class. I did without weights as my shoulder are stiff n my arms have swelling bcos of may be shoulder issue. Going to do this class for next 7days. Surely going to tone up myself. God bless you Erin. Take care of you. You are very precious to us.   11. This was a great workout. I so aspire to have the balance and strength you demonstrate in airplane all the way through staff pose, lifting your heavy weights all the way through! Bravo!

  12. I really like this workout, but I would have really liked you to count out the number of times to do things as you were doing them. I found it really hard to follow at times and having to look up to see if I was keeping pace on some postures sacrificed the integrity of the position.
