Vinyasa Sun Salutation Yoga Class

Happy International Yoga Day! What better way to celebrate than by practicing some yoga? 🙂 This is a 25-minute vinyasa sequence, incorporating variations on Sun Salutations A & B and a guided Savasana at the end.

Sun Salutations are a common and traditional way to begin a yoga practice. They help warm up the body, loosen you up and allow you to practice linking your movement with your breath. Sun Salutations can be used as a morning ritual, a way to wake up and feel energized and they can also be a practice in and of themselves.

If you enjoy this flow, be sure to give the video a like and subscribe to my channel so you can get notified when I upload new classes.

Thanks so much for practicing with me! I’ll see you on the mat.

  1. This is a sneaky flow; it looks relaxing/simple, but it got my heart pumping and a light sweat going (or.. I might just be out of shape?)

So – this video is not necessarily great for true beginners, because it's light on alignment cues and such; definitely approach this after you know what you're doing.. But if you do know what you're doing, this video (along with pretty much all of Jessica's videos) is great!

  2. Perfect vinayasa full body yoga but not sun salutation. The postures do overlap in yoga. But nice and relaxing.

  3. Hello there!! Im a follower from Colombia, I just wanted you to know that you are an amazing teacher!
Since quarantine started, an the place in which I used to train yoga closed, it was so difficult to find a teacher on youtube that really irradiated passion for yoga and sef conciousness and treated yoga not just like an excercise, but a mindful practice, a spiritual time for connnection with the most pure being inside me.
Youre inspiring!! I LOVE what you do for yourself and everyboody that has the opportunity to follow your practice!

  4. I really liked this flow, thank you! Sometimes the verbal cues were out of sync with the poses in the video, which made it a little hard to follow at times. I can’t wait to try another one of your videos! Namaste

  5. I really enjoyed this movement. It brought so much peace and awareness to me and my physical body. I have had a long week of long periods of continuous sitting and standing and have felt less fluid and flexible as i used to. This helped a lot! Thank you!!

  6. This was a perfect sun salutation flow. I really loved your pace and cueing. I just found your channel and am eager to see what else you have for us. Thank you and Namaste. 🙏🏼

  7. Loved the pace of this and the moments of silence you leave between poses. Get very distracted when there’s too much chatter from the teacher. 🖤

  8. This is wonderful. Just started a new semester and I've been going through this flow every morning before class and it really helps to ground me and wake me up. I actually WANT to wake up early every morning so I have time for this

  9. Hey Jessica! Really nice morning flow. The pacing was perfect. I find most sun salutations too slow (since I'm a seasoned beginner) or otherwise way too fast so I can't even get into the pose before going to the next one. Great way to wake up. Thanks!

  10. Great video you’re absolutely fabulous. How often do you do your grocery shopping? I think it would be awesome if you could do some grocery shopping videos and show how you shop for your healthy lifestyle
