Discover Hatha yoga! Today’s 30 minute full class is ideal for beginners and those of you looking for a more mindful practice. We’ll strengthen and stretch the body, holding each pose for several breaths. Hatha yoga tends to be gentler and slower-paced than a Vinyasa or Power style class (the type of yoga which we’ll explore tomorrow). If you’re new to yoga, recovering from an injury, or are looking to de-stress by moving slowly and mindfully, this style of yoga may be the perfect fit for you. Optional Props: Two Yoga Blocks.

  8. I did years of ballet and modern dance class but am getting over 7 fractures ony left leg. I can't bend my knee or straighten it and gave a 3 to 5 year recovery I would love to do yoga and strengthen my body but unless I can find a routine that doesn't include bending my knee etc then it's a no go! 😢😢😢

  10. hi, i am looking at doing this for the first time. now the problem i have is that i can not sit on my knees or sit crosslegged. how can i avoid these positions but still get benefits of this. thanks.

  11. This is the video I chose to reconnect with my self through Yoga.
    After 4 months of loosing my Mom to COVID-19, after 2 months of quitting my job as a Physician, and 1 month after moving across the Continent… I moved to Argentina, but aside from finding dear friends who I am grateful for, I found EXTREME Government restrictions with the excuse of pandemics, and I've lived 2 dark water floods in the apartment I moved into… not until Today I had the floors completely clean, and not until today I was able to buy a Yoga mat (or anything I coudl throw my self over the floor), no getting a bike, no parks, no yoga mat… no healthy food markets open… all this because of government restrictions due to covid…… Basically no exercise or yoga to get me through the worse month of my life… just meditation…
    So, I came to this video, coz I almost didn't know how to start over-…. AND NOW I AM SSOOOO SOO HAPPY, SO GLAD I DID. This IS THE YOGA CLASS I WAS CRAVING FOR. My Body needed it so much. I´m so gratefull to be able to be on the floor again, I'll never be able to THANK YOU enough BRETT LARKIN. NAMASTE.

  12. I reckon if u your videos without narration while your doing it, and instead still use that mic while your doing it to capture how your breathing patterns are meant to be, and then overlaying the video with the narration separately may be better, what are your thoughts a @brettlarkinyoga
